Vanessa Crane is a singer/songwriter who focuses mainly on writing acoustic pop music. She plays a range of instruments including guitar, piano and a bit of saxophone. Vanessa grew up performing in the theatre, her biggest role to date was playing Mrs Johnson in Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers. Alongside her stage performance she studied classical voice, earning her 8th grade AMEB certificate, before furthering her voice studies at the Univeristy of Queensland for two years. In 2018 she made the courageous decision to leave behind the world of opera and pursue her passion for song writing, graduating from JMC Academy with a Bachelors of Music in Songwriting and Performance. Her debut single 'Bless Your Heart' came out in 2022 and she has been working on writing new material and establishing herself as an artist while teaching highschool music and math.
